Late to the Party

What in the world was Omar Minaya thinking? Firing Tony Bernazard was one thing, but calling out Adam Rubin of the Daily News. I don't even know where to begin with this one. Even if Rubin wanted into the Mets front office, his story was accurate and help Minaya accelerate firing Bernazard. Minaya threw Rubin under the bus and it will be very interesting to see how the News combats the accusations from the Mets GM. Rubin tried to get answers at the press conference, but Minaya tried to downplay his comments.

Either way, the Mets are coming undone. This end to the season will not be pretty.
