Sanchez to the Giants

So the Giants continue to make some roster moves. They picked up Freddy Sanchez from the Pittsburgh Pirates. San Francisco gives up former first rounder Tim Alderson, who had most recently been pitching at Double-A.

So now the Pirates have dealt Nate McLouth, Eric Hinske, Nyjer Morgan, Sean Burnett, Freddy Sanchez, and Jack Wilson, more than one-fifth of their 25 man roster. I know a couple of Pirates fans. They tend not to have the best outlook on life.
