Wednesday Night Part 2

John Franco believes the Mets don't have the leadership they need. Franco said in an interview on satellite radio that David Wright needs to be that guy, but still concedes to the veterans on the team.

David Wright shrugged off Franco's statements after the Mets one to nothing win over the Brewers, according to the Associated Press.

In tonight's Yankee games, Franklin Gutierrez was thrown out "attempting" to steal second base. The reason I put attempting in quotes is Mr. Gutierrez was jogging down to second after ball THREE was taken by Wladimir Balentein, which he thought was ball four. Jorge Posada came out of his crouch, fired the ball down to Robbie Cano, who applied the tag for the final out of the inning. Remember kids, it's always important to know how many outs there are in an inning. I am sure I will find a link to post tomorrow with video.
